Just a little bit
about me.

Hi, I’m Chris, I’ve been a marriage celebrant for more than 14 years and have had the privilege of conducting hundreds of weddings. Even after all that time, I still genuinely enjoy getting to know each couple and helping them create a ceremony that feels right for them.

I’m a husband, father and grandfather, so family has always been a very important part of my life. I understand that a wedding isn’t only about the ceremony itself, it’s about the people you love, the stories you share and the memories you’ll take away from the day.

My style is warm, relaxed and conversational, with some humour where it feels natural. I don’t believe a ceremony should be overly formal, complicated or filled with words that don’t sound like you. It should reflect your personalities, tell your story honestly and make your guests feel part of the occasion.

As a 'first generation Australian' and coming from an immigrant family, I also understand how important culture, family traditions and personal beliefs can be. For some couples and their families, these things are a very meaningful part of the wedding day. I’m always happy to listen, learn and work with you to include the customs or traditions that matter to you, while making sure the ceremony still feels natural and personal.

I also understand that planning a wedding can sometimes feel overwhelming. My role is to make the ceremony side of things as easy and stress-free as possible. I’ll guide you through the legal requirements, help you work out what suits you and make sure you feel comfortable and confident when the day arrives.

Most importantly, I will never steal your limelight. I never forget that it’s your wedding. I’m there to support you, tell your story and help create a ceremony that feels genuine, enjoyable and completely yours.
